CIRCUIT
BACK IN SERVICE
Type: Service-specific (Format 22)
Short text: "Retry" operation
Cause: The dependability system offers a "retry" function for some circuits: If a sporadic error occurs in a system element, then this element can be initially blocked for a certain period of time (timed blockage). When the timed blockage ends, the circuit is put into "retry" service, during which time its operation is supervised. If the error re-occurs during the retry period, the circuit remains blocked. This message is output when the circuit is put back into normal service together with ACTION = IN SERV.
System response: the circuit is started up.
Action: - Check that the circuit goes back into service.
- If the "retry" operation fails, evaluate the previous error message which originally led to the circuit being blocked.
